1. General
What is ArticleStok.com?
ArticleStok is a free worldwide article directory where you can submit articles and find articles from other publishers. You can publish your articles for free to gain higher SEO rankings or increased traffic for your website. You may also find and republish content to your website. The more content you have, the better your search results.
Can I publish the articles I find on ArticleStok to my personal website?
You may add articles to your website from ArticleStok for free as long as it is in compliance with our Terms of Use (TOS). Our TOS basically states that in order to use content from other publishers on ArticleStok.com, you must include the full author credit with all included links, a link to ArticleStok.com, and the article cannot be edited in any way. All links must also remain active on the website they are to be published.
Does it cost money to submit articles to ArticleStok?
No. We do not charge for article submission. Operating costs are covered by advertising on ArticleStok; these advertisers ensure ArticleStok will always be free of charge to all users.
Can I advertise on ArticleStok?
At this time, ArticleStok is not adding new advertiser accounts to our website. There are a couple of options you may want to try:
- Use Google Adwords site targeting and choose our site for your pay-per-click ads; or
- Open an account on ArticleStok.com, publish articles on your chosen subject(s), and insert details about your business, contact details, and a link to your site into your Author Bio.
Publishing articles on ArticleStok.com is free and a good way to advertise you website or services.
2. Registration, Login, and Profile Questions
How do I create an author bio?
Log in to your account at www.ArticleStok.com with your username and password (if not a current user, create a free acount). Go to "Update your profile on the left column and enter your bio information. Remember to include links to your website in your author bio.
How do I upload an author avatar or photo?
Log in to your account at www.ArticleStok.com with your username and password (if not a current user, create a free acount). On the right hand column you will see a default avatar. Follow links and directions given to personalize your image.
How do I upload an article to ArticleStok?
Log in to your account at www.ArticleStok.com with your username and password (if not a current user, create a free acount). On the left column in your publisher account settings, click the link "Submit an Article". Fill in all fboxes, including article title, article category, the article, and be sure your bio box is populated with the correct information. NOTE: If you are copy+pasting an article from your site or another source to ArticleStok, be sure to use the html view in the content editor.
How long will the articles stay on Articlestock?
Your article submissions will stay on ArticleStok permanantly.
3. Article Submissions
Will I receive payment for my article submissions?
No, ArticleStok provides a free service that is valuable to both writers and publishers of online content.
How long do I have to wait between article submission and acceptance?
A review and decision on any article submissions is guaranteed within 96 hours. Typically, your article will be published or declined within 48 hours. You will receive an email notification on article status.
How can I find out where my articles are being republished?
We recommend using Google and Yahoo to search for copies of your articles.
You should conduct a search in the follow format:
“title of your article” +source +articlestok
How do I place links in my articles?
If your enter URLs in the form of http://www.mydomain.com they will become auto linked.
If you wish to have a keyword link, you will need to use the following HTML code (click the html text in the article submission editor):

Another (easiest way) is to highlight the text you want linked and click the button in the article editor that looks like a chain link. This will open a window that allows easy linking and customization.

Can I change my articles category?
You can easily change the desired category of a previously submitted article by logging in to your account and selecting an article you wish to change. Click to edit the article, select the new category, and save your changes.
Can my article be submitted to more than one category at a time?
No, it cannot. Please submit each article only once. Multiple submissions of the same article will result in its removal; repeated duplicate submissions may result in account closure.
How can I add an image(s) to my article?
Adding pictures to your article is pretty simple, although you may want to omit images as they can always be unpredictable in certain browsers. In addition, images inserted into html documents must be hosted on a webserver. Images may not be uploaded to ArticleStok directories. If you still wish to include images, here is how to proceed:
You can add the pictures by using the tag. In the article, where you want the picture to appear, just type:
Please remember that the image URL is the path to the picture online. It will not work on pictures from your computer, only pictures that can be accessed by a URL.
How can I delete an article that I've submitted?
If you want to remove an article from ArticleStok, you may do so by accessing your author control panel by logging in (username/password). From your author dashboard, you can view, edit, and delete any article previously published to your account. Please remember, if you delete an article, the traffic flowing through it will end as well.
What are some reasons for article rejection?
Most of the time, if your article was rejected, it was due to a violation of our submission guidelines. If you feel that our decision was unfair, feel free to contact us. We will be happy to take a second look and give you an explanation.
Why are there double spaces in my article?
Double spaces between text usually means that you have hit "enter" while typing your paragraph instead of letting the text carry to the next line on it's own. If you have unwanted spaces, type continously until the text wraps on it's own. Hit "enter" only when you wish for spacing betweeb paragraphs or ideas.
4. Republishing Articles
How do I republish articles from other authors on my site?
It's easy to add new content to your website using ArticleStok. There are two ways to add ArticleStok content to your website. First, simply find the article you like, copy the article text and paste the article into you website editor. Next, copy and paste the author bio and paste it at the end of the article you selected. Remember, author credite must be included, so be sure to copy and paste the bio. Failing to paste the author bio may result in fines and lawsuits arising from copyright infringement (United States Copyright Law). The other way to add content is through a RSS feed. Select the article to syndicate and click the RSS icon, or you can select entire category headings and subscribe to content across the entire topic.
May I publish these articles elsewhere (magazine, newspaper, etc.)?
Maybe. In order to republish content in forms of media other than internet, you must contact the author through the author bio. Country/city/local laws may still apply.
5. Copyright Issues
I see my article on ArticleStok, but I did not submit it. I own the rights to the article. What should I do?
Pleae contact us and send us a link from your browser to the article in question. Give a valid email address; if we find the article is plagiarized we will remove the article and contact authorities.
I found one (or more) articles republished on ArticleStok without proper credit or links. What should I do?
If you have contacted the website in question and they have not corrected the error, you can contact the site’s ISP and ask them to have the article removed. Find information on a website by visiting SiteTrail.com and entering the domain information.
